This course is used to introduce emerging topics in computer science that do not yet have a regular course number. The content of the course varies. Recent topics have included:

  • Foundations of Computer Science I (mostly an accelerated COMP 170: Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming)

  • Foundations of Computer Science II (mostly an accelerated COMP 271: Data Structures I)

  • Enterprise Software Development

  • Rapid Application Development Methodology (.NET)

  • Robotics Software Development

  • System Standards and Requirements

  • Topics in Algorithms

  • Data Visualization and Exploration
